As a part of the ATCCA/Central Sierra Connect team, Solstice Geospatial LLC is in Redding, CA attending a two day Rural Connections workshop which is addressing the successes and needs of rural communities with respect to broadband access. Solstice is responsible for coordinating the broadband infrastructure mapping and providing GIS analysis for the five county project.

Check out the great live-blog Shannon is writing at http://www.centralsierraconnect.org/ as I will be busy working with colleagues and other regions to address the mapping efforts going on in the other rural California regions.

Yes... so what does "coming soon" mean for me?

Solstice Geospatial, LLC was started in early 2007 and ever since our projects and clients have been expanding. Due to the increased workload, the development of a new website has not been a priority but that's not to say we don't think it is important. Sometime "soon" with the right combination of caffeine and motivation we will have much more to share "soon".
